A brief introduction to the Wu style of Tai Chi Chuan as practiced by the Ma family of Shanghai. Ma Yue Liang was the founder of Wu Tai Chi, Wu Chien Chuan's disciple and son in law. Along with his wife Wu Jing Hua, they performed a crucial role in preserving this system that was used by the Imperial Guards of China. This system includes a short form, a long form, saber, spear and sword forms, and the original fast form for fighting, along with other practices and exercises. This system is especially known for its Push Hands and retaining its martial integrity.
