+ Sturdy, functional construction

- Loosely fitted guard (can rotate a little)
- Tang thread sticking out past the nut (maybe just on this one?)
- Blade stains easily
*** Verdict ***
This is a well made, aesthetically pleasing reproduction of a liuyedao that works admirably for cutting practice. It's also one of the few reproductions of Chinese swords currently on the market that offer such high quality at a comparatively low price.
The fit could use some improvement but it held up well during the test...
