This week's #Qigong practice focuses on the health of the joints in the body.

Did you know that there are 360 joints within the human body?

Our joints are where bones, muscle, tendons and ligaments meet. It is important that we maintain the health and function of the joints.

Throughout our lives, repetitive motion, stress and poor posture deplete our joints and bones of vital #lifeforceenergy.

Proper posture and movement bring energy to the joints and relieve stiffness and general aches and pains within the joints. Many studies show that Qigong movements help combat #arthritis and osteoporosis.

"Motion is lotion" is a phrase that I love to use as a teacher of movement. My students generally laugh when I say that. Movement helps prevent stagnation of energy in the joints, builds strength and flexibility as well.
