Try This PRACTICAL Xing Yi Quan Two Man Exercise - Using Structure For Defence [Hsing I Chuan]

Try this simple but effective exercise which employs one of the Six core principles of Xing Yi Quan (TIGER EMBRACE) to give you a responsive structure for defense.

This kind of relaxed tension is really useful for defense when responding to an opponent but it also helps you to develop your offensive ability too.

This exercise is really simple and you can adapt it as you go, you just need a partner. Remember this is an exercise to feel and use your body structure for defense, it's not the final picture but it's something I think is a really useful piece of the jigsaw puzzle that is your martial progress!
