Sun Lutang adopted this #qigong exercise to feature as a key sequence throughout his Sun Style #Taijiquan form.

It acts as a regular pause point to collect oneself both physically and mentally. We often describe each Open & Close sequence as a station that offers a moment for repose ànd to re-energize before embarking on the next segment of the form.

Based upon the Sun 73 Tai Chi Form this Tai Chi for Health program is beneficial for all people especially those living with a long term health condition or those in recovery from illness or injury.
