The sequence of Peng - Lu - Ji - An is found throughout various Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) forms. Peng, Lu, Ji, An is four of the eight basic techniques of Taijiquan. These are seen as the "building blocks" of Taiji. The other four are: Cai, Lie, Zhou, and Kao. ("Pluck, Split, Elbow, and Bump").

In this video, Sifu Gary Gee discusses the sequence and breaks down the techniques at a granular level.
