This video is the first in a series of videos meant to help Tai Chi beginners work on their balance control, focus, and connection to the ground/rooting. In this video I cover a simple breathing exercise to help relax and align the body and to build a mental image of your root. It is recommended that you practice this simple exercise before each of your Taiji training sessions to help develop mindfulness and to bring your mind into a state of awareness of your root and body structure as you practice Tai Chi.
